Operated as an immersive education experiment by Brown University, this fictional but historically-inspired 18th-century Italian island is located in the Bay of Naples. Basilique is a small northern Italian village, an island, and community located on Lake Garda (Italian: Lago di Garda), the largest lake in Italy. The Amalfi Cathedral in Ville de Coeur is based on the RL Italian church built with Arab-Norman, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Byzantine elements. The Belltower, mosaic, bronze portal, and 62 exterior steps are reproduced. Services are held here (or one of the other Ville de Coeur churches) on Saturdays at 11 am by Magnus Brody. All are welcome. English service is streamed with music.
