Aural by Bryn Oh and Morlita Quan

Aural by Bryn Oh and Morlita Quan

Morlita Quan created numerous sound pieces which she then gave to Bryn Oh to interpret. Individual sound segments are placed along a route in the virtual space which the visitor follows. At the end of the route, all the pieces are combined to create a sound composition. Visitors are encouraged to linger at the sound locations to absorb the ambient mood it projects. GBTH presents Ed. COLONIA

GBTH presents Ed. COLONIA

Ed. Colonia is a group art exhibition and the first of its kind at the GBTH. The idea behind Ed. Colonia was exploring further the format of group exhibitions, preserving each artist's individuality as we occupy a common space. No theme has been suggested and each floor, inhabited by a different artist, is an exhibition on its own. A group of artists is also referred to as a colony of artists, which inspired the title of this show. Simple and straightforward enough to leave room for the installations to shine and speak for themselves.
