Release Candidate Viewers First Look Viewers Snowglobe

Windows | Mac | Linux

Release Candidate viewers are optional viewers that contain the latest bug fixes and/or soon-to-be-released new features.

This is your opportunity to test out our soon-to-be released viewers — BEFORE they are the primary download — and let us know about anything we may have missed during our internal testing.

Release Candidate viewers connect to the main LIVE Second Life Grid.

All user information, L$, content, land and other transactions are REAL!

Please try the RC viewers only if you want to participate in the bug reporting process and identify issues before they become the primary viewer.

Currently Not Available.

First Look viewer are optional viewers that provide a 'first look' at new features under development.

First Look viewers connect to the main LIVE Second Life Grid.

Please be aware that First Look viewers might be buggier than other viewers.

Windows | Mac | Linux

Snowglobe is an open source Second Life-compatible viewer, built jointly by the open source community and Linden Lab.

This viewer is developed on a more rapid release schedule than the official Second Life viewer and therefore can be less stable.

Snowglobe will typically contain new features, changes, or capabilities in SL which are not yet available in the official release. Some of these changes may be experimental and may or may not ultimately be included in official releases.

NOTE: Snowglobe connects to the main LIVE Second Life Grid. All user information, L$, content, land and other transactions are REAL!

Visit the Snowglobe home page to learn more about participating in the development of Snowglobe.
