Program Rules & Selection Process

  • Limit one vote per Resident. Multiple ballots submitted by one account will be invalidated before the voting results are tabulated.
  • Residents must provide their Second Life account (avatar) name when submitting their voting ballot or the ballot will be nullified. Names will remain confidential, and will not be distributed or used for any marketing purposes.
  • Account names will be verified against account registration records before votes are tabulated ensuring only one ballot per account is included in the voting results.
  • Your account must be active and have a creation date prior to March 30th, 2009 to participate. In fairness to the Resident Community, accounts created on or after March 30th, 2009 will not be participating in this years voting.
  • Employees of Linden Lab and their families, or groups, land or spaces operated by employees of Linden Lab and/or their families, are prohibited from participating, either as Award-winners, or as voters.
