DESCRIPTION |
| Mouselook | Mouselook is your first person mode, seeing through the eyes of your avatar rather than the more usual third person view. This is particularly useful when inside buildings. You can enter mouselook by zooming all the way in with your mousewheel or choosing it from this menu. The easiest way to leave mouselook is to hit the Escape Key. |
| Build | This will drop you into build mode, on the Create tab of the Edit pane to be exact. So when you want to start building this is an easy way to start. |
| Reset View | The same as hitting Escape. If you have been moving your camera around or entered mouselook mode - this will pop you back to the normal camera position. |
| Look At Last Chatter | Turns your avatar's head to look at the avatar who last spoke in chat. |

| Toolbar | Toggles the toolbar at the bottom on and off. |
| Chat History | The same as ctrl-h, this will show or hide the Chat History window. This window will hold all of the chat since you started this session of Second Life. It does not preserve chat between sessions. |
| Instant Message | Show or hide the Instant Message window. |
| Inventory | Show or hide the Inventory window. |
| Mute List | View the list of residents and objects that you have chosen to Mute. You can Mute another resident through their Profile, or right click on the object or avatar and choose "Mute". |
| Camera Controls | Pops upShows or hides a small window giving mouse access to the camera controls. |
| Movement Controls | Shows or hides a small window giving mouse access to the movement controls. |
| World Map | Opens or closes the world map. |
| Mini-Map | Opens or closes the mini-map. You can't use the mini-map to teleport, but it does show your immediate surroundings including other avatars close by. If you left click the mini-map it will open the world map. If you right-click it you can choose from three zoom levels. |
| Statistics Bar | Opens or closes the Statistics Bar. |
| Property Lines | Shows parcel boundaries as red lines on the landscape so that you can see where your land starts and finishes. |
| Land owners | Colours the landscape to better show land that is owned by you (green), by your group (teal), is for sale (orange) or belongs to other people (red). |
| Hover Tips | Decide if you wish to see information about objects your mouse stops over. You turn them on or off, and decide whether to see them for Land, Objects or both. |
| Alt Shows Physical | When checked, holding the Alt key down will show all physical objects as red. |
| Highlight Transparent | When checked, transparent objects will be visible as a translucent red. |
| Beacons | Puts a visible beacon showing the exact positions of different types objects - those that are scripted, that are making sounds, that are physical and that are emitting particles. |
| Show HUD Attachments | When unchecked, HUDs will not show on your screen, but will still respond to commands. |
| Zoom In | Moves the camera mode closer in. |
| Zoom Default | Sets the camera zoom to default. |
| Zoom Out | Moves the camera further out. |
| Toggle Fullscreen | Toggles between running Second Life in a window, or fullscreen. |
| Set UI Size to Default | Returns scalable UI to 1.00. |
